As announced at the Annual Meeting, we are establishing a Committee to search for our next Rector; a crucial next step in St. Mark’s history. The key activities of the Committee will include preparing a Parish profile, completing a Parish survey, engaging
with and listening to the Parish, providing updates to the Parish and Vestry, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and presenting finalists to the Vestry.
While a substantial responsibility, this will be a faithful and meaningful experience for those of us who serve, and we will be guided by the Diocesan Canon for Transition Ministry. We anticipate a diverse Committee of up to 8-9 individuals from the Parish, including the co-chairs. An application to serve is available for review and completion HERE . If this is something that speaks to you, please give it prayerful discernment and consider what time commitment you can make and any concerns you have about your schedule constraints.
