The Greening of the Church and Soup Supper

The Greening of the Church is a beloved parish tradition that marks the transition from Advent to Christmas. We deck the church with green boughs and festive decorations, bringing in from the outside signs of freshness, and the scent of things growing even in winter. It will be on December 17 @ 5p.m. and it is a lovely evening, with Christmas music playing in the background, a potluck soup and salad dinner, and opportunities for children to make ornaments.

We need folks to bring a pot of soup, a loaf of bread, or a salad to share.  Please let Debie Thomas know what you’ll be bringing (debie@saint-marks.com).
