Stanford University is our neighbor and we have a great opportunity to be involved and support the Episcopal chaplaincy there. Come to the Saturday, May 18 fundraiser gathering, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s, for hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and meet the university’s Episcopal chaplain Dr. Travis Stevens. He will lead a conversation about the past, present, and future of campus ministry at Stanford. All are welcome: Stanford alum, faculty members, staff — and anyone in the St. Mark’s community interested in building relationship and supporting Episcopal campus ministry. In addition to seeking financial support for the ministry, the event also seeks your ideas in planning programming for the broader Episcopal community to gather for occasional worship services, shared meals, pastoral support, bible study, or opportunities to interact with and support students.
