St. Mark’s has long supported the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, and with the dire need this year, the Vestry allocated and the Outreach Commission designated $9695, our Outreach portion of our surplus, to this support. You can help today, as well: The offering received in the alms basin on St. Nicholas Day each year goes to St. Mark’s continued support of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (through AFED). Please give generously. The diocese serves people in Palestine, Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon through 27 parishes and more than two dozen humanitarian institutions – schools, hospitals, clinics, centers for children with disabilities, and homes for the elderly. The needs are urgent in this time.
