Every year St. Mark’s creates a Giving Tree during Advent to encourage donations to organizations doing important work in our community. This year the Outreach Commission has selected CIC/Elmwood Jail ministry and Abode Services: Opportunity Center as our designated recipients. The tree will be up starting at the Advent dinner on 12/3 and will have tags describing how each donation amount/type will support the two organizations. Please grab a tag (or two!!) and return checks to the box underneath the tree through Sunday morning 12/24. You can also send donations by check or PayPal to St. Mark’s and specify in the memo line which organization you wish to support or if you have no preference.
