The Becoming Beloved Community Task Force is excited to welcome Kenan Moos, co-founder of Justice Vanguard, the community-building and education-centered organization promoting social justice through beauty, celebration, and education. Their presentation is called The Marathon – about the journey to creating sustainable and supportive communities. They will also share about creating the Juneteenth Festival and what we can all expect at this year’s 5th Annual Juneteenth Festival in Los Altos on June 22 – and why Juneteenth matters so much – not just for the African-American community, but for everyone! – and how we can participate.
