The St. Mark’s Book Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Room. We read a variety of books ranging from novels to nonfiction and including mysteries as well as memoirs. We take turns facilitating the discussion. For our May and June meetings we are tackling Abraham Verghese’s epic novel The Covenant of Water. Debie Thomas, whose family is originally from Kerala, the area of South India where the novel is set, will facilitate the discussion. For May we’ll read Parts 1 through 5. The discussion is lively, and everyone is welcome! Join us!
