Are you looking to rekindle or begin a meditation practice? Learn the basics in a clear, easy-to-follow way as we explore meditation in a supportive environment. In course, we will explore the basics of mindfulness meditation and practice how to cultivate a sense of peace in everyday life. You will learn to apply mindfulness in stillness and with walking meditation. The lessons will help you direct attention in a focused manner, connecting to the present moment and opening to a new awareness of your body, mind, and emotions.

Each meeting will include:
• Short talks on mindfulness meditation
• Tools on mindfulness of the breath, body, and emotions
• Tips on how to integrate a mindfulness practice into your daily life
• Time for Q & A and self-reflections

Mary Dillard has led spiritual formation programs for over 25 years in parish and retreat ministries. She earned a master’s degree in Spirituality from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and completed a certificate in Spiritual Direction.
