The Jazz Eucharist and Community Faire last week was so much fun – with rousing jazz, great tacos, games, raffles, skits – and most importantly, each one of us committing to volunteer for a major event or ministry effort in the coming year! If you weren’t here or didn’t have your calendar, the Sign-Up Table will be at Agape this Sunday. Our work together is what makes community – and brings joy!
Many thanks to all who worked so hard to make the Jazz Eucharist and Community Faire such a wonderful day! Randy Smith’s band brought the music, with help this year from his bandmate Gordon Fels; Brie Linkenhoker created the St. Mark’s Events sign-ups and coordinated the day with Marina Martin and Debbie Clark and others supporting; Kiddos and Families are supported by Lily Dodge, Zareen Ahmad, and Brie; Carol Scott and the stewardship calling team invited all to join; Mary Murphy, Marius Milner, Ole Neves and the workday crew set everything up in advance and helped with the clean up. It was a joyful celebration of the possibilities for our community in ministry together.
