St. Mark’s First Outdoor Adventure!
It definitely feels like God has called us into outdoor fellowship together, as 23 of us spanning ages ~1 to ~80 joined together Saturday, March 7, for a glorious day hike at Foothills Park to start what we plan to be a new St. Mark’s outdoors group!
Many of us did just over 4 miles in about 3 hours including lunch. It was difficult for some, easy for others, and we will seek to plan more outings for different hiking/walking levels. Stay tuned for more to come!
The weather was perfect. We saw many animals (deer, geese, ducks, birds, a turtle), flowers, plants, and mushrooms. Views were spectacular from Mt. Tamalpias to Mt. Hamilton and everything in between.
