Christian mystic and quasi-monastic solitary, paying the bills by contributing to the destruction of humanity as we know it through software. Served previously on St. Mark’s Vestry 2016-2017. Headed up St. Mark’s InReach ministry 2014-2017. St. Mark’s Choir 2013-2017 and 2025-present (and sporadically in between). On the vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church in Gretna, Virginia 2017-2022 (Senior Warden 2019-2022). On the vestry of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Sitka, Alaska 2022-2026. Served on the board of the Sitka Homeless Coalition 2023-2025, building tiny homes for the unhoused in Sitka Alaska, as well as providing food and other services to Sitka’s less fortunate. Strong believer in the harmonic and mutually empowering combination of the Way of the Cross (self-emptying), contemplation, and social action. Touchstones: beginner’s mind, humility, love of God and others—not that I do any of that well.
