A Night of Art and Spirit: Spiritual Cafe Highlights
What do an evocative painting of Filoli, a chemistry PhD playing classical piano, and an angelic “Pie Jesu” duet have in common? They were all highlights of the fabulous Spiritual Cafe held on Friday, April 10th!
About 35 parishioners and friends gathered in the Sanctuary to share their diverse talents. Some exhibited and discussed their artwork, followed by original compositions and performances, readings, joke-telling, poems, and a group hymn led by Reverend Kirsten. Emceed by Debbie Clark to bring the “variety show” spirit to St. Mark’s, the evening concluded with an uplifting, spirited sing-along of “All You Need is Love.” Join us for the next one!
