This Week’s Most Needed Food Closet Items

This Week’s Needs at the Food Closet: The last week’s donations were – one grocery bag equivalent of paper bags and $0.00 of cash donations. You may be aware of recent rounds of tech layoffs in the Bay Area. As reported by one of the Food Closet managers – these kind of layoffs can bring people to the Food Closet who have never experienced financial insecurity – or even thought they might have to enter a Food Closet. The Food Closet Managers help these of our neighbors navigate their new reality with kindness and understanding. People who utilize the Food Closet come from all walks of life, but the service they receive and your donations make food insecurity one less worry for them. As always, thank you for your generous donations towards the care of our less fortunate neighbors.

Drop off donations at the Food Closet: As the summer Covid peak is here now, a reminder that The Diocese allows food pantries to remain open during Covid.
