At 11:30 a.m. this Sunday, November 5, celebrating All Saints’ Day, Matthew Burt will present Saints’ Days, a set of twelve short pieces for organ by American composer Daniel Pinkham (1923-2006), in what would have been his hundredth birthday year. These miniatures depict narratives of a wide variety of saints—some humorous, some dramatic—using the full color palate of our Casavant organ. The Reverend Nancy Ross will introduce each piece with a brief biographical sketch.
