We want to let you know of the following events scheduled in July to celebrate and honor Rev. Matt and LeeAnne McDermott as they prepare for retirement.
Celebration Dinner
We will have a special dinner on Saturday, July 15th at 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall to recognize Matt and LeeAnne’s many years of leadership and commitment to St. Mark’s. Please mark your calendars for a wonderful evening of reflection, gratitude, celebration, food and drink
Afternoon Music Fest
Please join us on Saturday, July 29th at 3 p.m. for a late afternoon informal gathering on the labyrinth to celebrate the McDermotts with music and joy. Join Matt, Randy Smith, and others for songs, celebration, BBQ, and maybe some dancing!
Sunday Farewell
Matt’s last church service will be the 10:00 service on Sunday, July 30. St. Mark’s former choir director Rebecca Maggi and organist Jim Welch will be with us. Please join us for a fond farewell after the service.
We will provide more information on all of these events shortly. Please mark your calendars in the meantime as we prepare for these events to thank Matt, LeeAnne, and family for how much they have meant to the St. Mark’s community.
