The Becoming Beloved Community Task Force is pleased to share an opportunity to hear Richard Rothstein, author of The Color of Law, and his daughter, Leah Rothstein, with whom he’s collaborated on a new book, Just Action. The event is on Wednesday, November 15, at 6:30pm at the Imagination Lab School, 4050 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto (Cubberley Community Center), and will be facilitated by Julie Lythcott-Haims, who spoke to St. Mark’s about her experience as a biracial American.
Rothstein’s first book discussed US government policies that perpetuate segregation. Just Action identifies community programs and activities that can be taken to address these historical inequities. The event is likely to be a full house, so best to register beforehand.
