The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Here at St. Mark’s, the Becoming Beloved Community Task Force, following its Lenten discussion groups last spring, has continued its work to identify ways in which the parish can address the realities
of ongoing racism and make a difference to repair the breach we have caused.
Elections are critical to making a difference, and the Task Force has identified several resources for use by parishioners in this election season. One is a list of public events organized by such organizations as the League of Women Voters and local governments. The other is a brochure called A Faithful Voter Reflection Guide, produced by the organization Interfaith Power and Light, a climate justice organization promoting social justice in voting. Copies of the brochure will be available in the new narthex, or you can request a link to download the brochure at https://www.faithclimatejusticevoter.org/voter-guide/.
