Here’s what the Thursday Zoom book club is reading in the next few months!
Good-Reads Book Discussion is beginning to read the novel God Knows – Joseph Heller’s wonderfully funny and deeply moving telling of the story of King David. In the new year we will alter our focus to read a book on the contemporary state of religious believes – either Stephen Prothero’s God is not One or Harold Bloom’s The American Religion.
We read spirit-filled, typically modern Christian, books. Discussions focus on a few chapters at each meeting providing the opportunity to learn from each other as we are progressing through the book.
