children’s ministry to the elderly
The Bright Lights Program teaches children, ages 2-12, about helping others through monthly visits to a nursing home. These visits include a program of singing, sharing and giving of crafts they have prepared for the seniors, combined with preparation and teaching on helping others.
St. Mark’s also recognizes that the needs of our community extend beyond our local reach. Therefore, we support the work of:
Global Aids Interfaith Alliance (GAIA):
Combating AIDS by partnering faith communities with Malawi villages.
One World Children’s Fund:
Funding resources to grassroots organizations serving disadvantaged children.
Saint Andre’s Episcopal School in Haiti:
Providing education and meals to underserved children in Haiti.
