I was born in North Carolina, grew up in New York, and moved to California for law school. Currently, I work for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, where I primarily address claims of discrimination and harassment.
A member of St. Mark’s introduced me to my wife, Ellen, during the spring 1999 church picnic! We were married in 2002 at St Andrew’s-in-the-Redwoods, Monte Rio. Our daughter Sarah was born in 2004 and was confirmed with the St. Mark’s Youth Group in 2018.
I was raised in the Missionary Baptist Church and became interested in the Episcopal church when I found that liturgical forms of worship speak to me. We came to Saint Mark’s around 2012, attracted in part by the wonderful children’s programs.
