The Parish Retreat is currently full UNLESS you’d like to camp. Please email leeanne@saint-marks.com if you’d like to be added to a waiting list or are interested in attending and camping.
From Friday October 7 to Sunday October 9, the parish retreat is a fun event for all ages, up at the beautiful Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, CA. The Rev. Liz Tichenor, rector of Church of the Resurrection in Pleasant Hill CA and author of The Night Lake: A Young Priest Maps the Topography of Grief, will be our guest retreat leader.
This year’s theme is Finding our place: where our deep gladness meets the world’s hunger. We will engage conversation and reflection around the needs of the world and how we can meet the present reality with joy and hope (instead of burnout, fear, or exhaustion). There’s also plenty of space for fun, music, hikes, and much more! It’s a wonderful time of rejuvenation, getting to know other parishioners in new way.
This year, there is also a special discounted price for those who have never been to the Ranch for the Parish weekend. And there are scholarships available for those who need financial support in order to attend. Please be in touch with LeeAnne.
