Oct. 1 at 5:00 pm, St. Mark’s presents “In the Footsteps of Saint Francis—An Evening of Songs, Stories and Slides”—a musical narrative about the area where St. Francis lived. Musicians Robert “Ram” Smith and Denise Ruelas aim to uplift the hearts of all who hear the stories and songs in celebration of St. Francis, whose feast day is Oct. 3.
Ram lived near Assisi over a seven year span, and his collected photos enhance the musical presentation. Ram has been a member of the Ananda Church of Self Realization for 46 years and both he and Denise live at Ananda Village near Nevada City, CA.
Ram and Denise aim to present “Songs of Divine Inspiration” written by Ananda’s founder, J. Donald Walters (aka Swami Kriyananda), to a wider audience.
The two pursue their musical ministry to bring these songs to a wider audience of people who love inspirational music.
