Earthquake-battered Haitian Episcopalians assess damage as ministry partners prepare to help

Earthquake-battered Haiti needs our help, and a St. Mark’s parishioner has offered to match your contributions up to $3,000. To date we have raised more than $1,500, so let’s take advantage of this generous match to help earthquake victims in Haiti.

Haitian Episcopalians have spent the hours since the Aug. 14 7.2 magnitude earthquake searching for family and friends while assessing the damage to their churches, schools and communities as their ministry partners across The Episcopal Church have anxiously awaited their news.

You can help by sending a donation by check to the office made out to St. Mark’s (noted: for Fr. Noe/Haiti) or by going to Give on our website and donating via Paypal (add note to indicate it is for Haiti) or Tithley (use pulldown to select Haiti). These donations will go directly to ministries /people we’ve supported in the past and will be matched up to $3,000.

A second option is to donate to The Colorado Haiti Project (link below).
