What a wonderful Community Faire at St. Mark’s last Sunday! Thank you to Building and Grounds leaders Marius Milner and Mary Murphy and to all of the folks who came out to help set up on Saturday’s Work Day – and to all who helped with the clean up on Sunday. This is a hands-on, pitch-in place! Very special thanks go to the team who put the Community Faire together: Membership Co-Chairs Marina Martin and Michelle Liencres, with Cheryl Miller, Randy Smith, Debbie Clark, and Jonathan Luk – and Anna Klay for providing a cake extravaganza, which our Hotel de Zink neighbors have also enjoyed.
The 17-piece jazz band raised the roof at the Jazz Eucharist and continued raising up the Spirit outdoors at the Faire. Thank you to Randy Smith and his bandmates! Thanks, too, to our delightful Master of Ceremonies Debbie Clark, who entertained us all while shining a light on the myriad ministries carried out by the St. Mark’s community. (Rev. Nick and Rev. Nancy are already practicing with the lariats – and if you didn’t get to see the fun, themed gift array, ask them about it!)
