Christmas Eve at St. Mark’s

Christmas at St. Mark’s

Join us on YouTube for a holy night celebrating the mystery of the Incarnation – You will be invited to:

  • Make or bring an ornament and put it on the tree at the labyrinth, as a prayerful act of hope. (The tree will stay outside, so please bring something that can withstand the winter weather.)
  • Be ready to light a candle with us at the beginning of the service as a way for us to all enter this time together. If you do not have one at home, please stop by and pick up one candle from the box outside the office front door.
  • 4:30pm: Instrumental carols, played by Jim Welch [[YouTube link]]
  • 5:00pm: Christmas Eve service on YouTube, including blessing of fire, virtual pageant, sermon from Rev. Matt, and lighting of our new Redwood tree Bethlehem star.

Even though we are physically apart, let us enter this sacred season together in spirit!
