Every year St. Mark’s creates a Giving Tree during Advent to encourage donations (either financial or in-kind donations) to organizations helping those in need. This year the Outreach Commission has selected Project WeHOPE and the CIC Jail Ministry as our designated recipients.
Please take a tag (or two!) from the tree in the narthex and fulfill the requests on the tag. If you choose to give a monetary gift on behalf of these organizations, which they can use to purchase the items they need you can bring a check to place in the box by the tree or send donations by check or Tithely to St. Mark’s and specify in the memo line which organization you wish to support.
If you want to provide hygiene kits for Project We Hope, please bring those and leave them by the tree. Thank you for supporting these critical organizations, they appreciate your support and your prayers! For more information about CIC and PWH, go to www.cicministries.org and www.wehope.org.
