“The Liminal Light of Advent: Wreaths, Reflections and Rituals – Saturday, November 27, 5 P.M. Outside Courtyard, Parish Hall and Church
Advent is a season in which we seek, with expectancy, to move beyond the darkest time of the year. In a world of continuing challenge and lament we strive to move towards hope by remembering a promise that is yet unfulfilled and a hope that lightens our path. As a faithful people we anticipate the freedom that God offers us as we choose to stand up and lift up the good news of the Gospel. Join us!
Join us for a program for all ages that includes wreath making, music, reflections, prayers and lighting ritual:
5pm Advent Wreath Making on the central courtyard
6pm Dinner and a Presentation by the Rev. Liz Milner in the Parish Hall and a Candlelight Procession to the Church for the Lighting of the Wreath.
The Advent Giving Tree will also be unveiled.
Tickets for Dinner (safe, individual food and drink): Adults $15 advance; $20 at the door; Children (4-12) $5 – Sign-up in Breeze here
